Bridal House opened in Maryport in early 2007. Since that time we have helped many brides from all over Cumbria & South West Scotland start their journey through married life by finding the wedding dress of their dreams.

We stock a tremendous range of bridal gowns and bridesmaid dresses over two floors. The ground floor area is devoted to bridesmaids with many different styles to choose from by Emma Bridals, Christina Wu celebration, Millie May, White Rose & Richard Designs with a choice of over 50 different styles in a wide range of colours, we guarantee you are sure to find something to complement your wedding dress.

A stunning collection of traditional and sophisticated bridal wear is on display on the first floor, including designs by Ronald Joyce, and Romantica. We are also delighted to offer our clients White Rose Graceful, designed for brides with curves, available from sizes 18 to 32. We keep a wide range of dresses from each designer in stock. We also stock dresses for the traditional church wedding, a stylish hotel ceremony or an overseas wedding.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS.

DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT TO VISIT THE SHOP?

We do strongly advise an appointment to ensure you have my undivided attention when choosing your bridal gown. If you want to make an appointment please either phone or if it is outside normal hours you can either leave a message on the answerphone send an email or message via facebook.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY WEDDING DRESS TO

ARRIVE ONCE I HAVE PLACED AN ORDER?

This varies from designer to designer but the wedding dress usually takes around 6 months to arrive. However, if your wedding is sooner many designers will try to fast track but this may incur an additional charge.

IF I REQUIRE MY WEDDING DRESS IMMEDIATELY

WHAT CAN I DO?

We have many dresses that can be bought 'off the peg'

so you should be able to find something suitable.

We also have a selection in various sizes in our sale section.

DO I NEED TO PAY THE FULL AMOUNT FOR MY WEDDING DRESS WHEN ORDERING?

No you can pay in instalments, but a minimum of 50% is required before I can place the order, the balance is due when the dress arrives in the shop.

DO YOU SUPPLY VEILS & TIARAS?

We have a large selection of veils and tiaras in a range of colours & styles so you will find something to

complement your gown.

WHEN WILL MY FITTINGS BE?

Normally your first fitting is 6/8 weeks before your wedding with the final one 3/4 weeks before.

WHAT IF MY DRESS REQUIRES AN UNDERSKIRT?

Most of our dresses don't require underskirts, but we can

supply them if required.

WILL YOU STORE MY DRESS?

Yes if you wish we can store your dress & bridesmaid dresses free of charge until your wedding.

I AM ON A TIGHT BUDGET CAN YOU HELP?

Our sale section offers an array of discounted wedding dresses. This selection of wedding dresses are shop samples which have been tried on by brides to help them decide on their gown they are all priced at least 50% off.

WHAT SIZES DO YOU STOCK?

We stock a good range of sizes from size 10 to 30. So there should always be samples available to try on whatever size you require.
